Romain, I would like to try jeditR, could you point me to installation/setup instructions. Thanks.
Romain: I am extremely impressed with this presentation from useR. I echo Walt's sentiments requesting installation instructions. I've looked at the various posts on you blog, trying to understand the development of the package. I would really appreciate the chance to employ your jeditR modifications for my R code development. I've tried to use Eclipse StatET, Komodo Edit 4, and NPPtoR within NotePad++ (along with Tinn-R), but your slides indicate a much more sophisticated code development environment.
I'd really enjoy trying this myself, hope to hear from you.
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in this project. We are currently working at making the installation really easy, and should have something soon.
Romain
Romain,
That sounds great. Looking forward to using it!
Romain:
Any developments on an installation of your jeditR system for us?
This seems very interresting, jEdit is a good choic I like its capabilities for other languages.
However, it is not clear how to make it work, and some directions would be very welcome. Installing orchestra in R is fine, but how to use it and what to do on the jEdit side?
Don't tease! Would love to use this...any thoughts of releasing it?
Hi. I use jEdit for editing lilypond (http://www.lilypond.org, open source music typesetting software) source files and I would very much like to use it to work with R. Do you have setup instructions yet?
Thanks.
